According to Ukrinform, the NPC Ukrenergo reported this on Facebook.

“The enemy continues to carry out attacks on Ukraine’s civilian energy infrastructure. As a result of Russian strikes, there are new power outages in the Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions as of this morning. Where safety conditions allow, emergency repair work is already underway,” the statement reads.

It is noted that electricity consumption is trending upward. Today, July 24, as of 9:30 a.m., it was 1.6% higher than at the same time the previous day, Thursday. The reason for the change is cloudy weather across much of Ukraine, which reduces the efficiency of residential solar power plants and leads to a corresponding increase in energy consumption from the main grid.

Yesterday, July 23, the daily peak in consumption was recorded in the evening. It was 1% lower than the previous day's peak, Wednesday, July 22.

Ukrenergo also advises shifting the use of high-power electrical appliances today to the period when industrial solar power plants operate most efficiently, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
