- SquareLocator is a new curated marketplace for Squarespace users
- It claims to list credible tools, templates, plugins, and specialist services
- SquareLocator is now live
SquareLocator, a discovery platform for the Squarespace ecosystem, was launched last month. The platform aims to reduce the noise of traditional search by offering a curated list of Squarespace tools, templates, plugins, and specialist services, making it easier for designers, developers, and creators to find the trusted tools they need to build great websites.
In a press release shared with TechRadar Pro, SquareLocator highlights the issues surrounding Squarespace users having to navigate thousands of Google results, social media recommendations, and fragmented community forums.
“I realized I wasn’t searching for more options,” says Miles Noble, Founder of SquareLocator. “I was searching for better recommendations”.
Giving independent creators a platform
The problem for agencies, developers, and DIY Squarespace users is finding the right tools for the job. So, for the developers of those tools, getting discovered and monetizing their skill and hard work is one of their biggest challenges. This is the gap SquareLocator promises to help close.
“SquareLocator started as something I wished already existed,” shares Noble. “As I spoke to more designers, developers, and creators, I realized I wasn’t the only one facing this challenge. Finding trusted tools shouldn’t mean sifting through thousands of search results or relying on chance recommendations. SquareLocator is designed to make discovery simpler by connecting people with high-quality resources that have been carefully curated by experts.”
According to the press release, rather than attempting to list everything, SquareLocator focuses on quality over quantity. The platform showcases credible tools from across the Squarespace ecosystem, organizing them into clear categories, making it easy for users to discover – meaning they can spend less time searching and more time building great websites.
