There are three skulls and one terminal to find in "Halo," the second mission in Halo: Campaign Evolved, and one of them especially is in a very tricky place to reach. This mission sees Master Chief crash-land on the titular halo after evacuating the Pillar of Autumn in a lifeboat, although when you touch down on the surface, he's the only survivor inside his raft.

It's up to you to find and rescue marines from the other lifeboats that have come crashing down, but along the way, why not find all the collectibles while you're at it? Here are the "Halo" skulls and terminal locations in Halo: Campaign Evolved.

Before you start progressing through "Halo," one of these skulls requires performing a grenade jump, so make sure you hold on to a couple of frag grenades. While usable, plasma grenades are more difficult to utilize in grenade jumps.

Terminal: Forgotten

  • **Objective:**Search for other UNSC lifeboats

"Halo" is one of the more sandbox-y levels in Campaign Evolved, which means it's quite open, and you can tackle these collectibles in a non-linear order. However, the first you'll be able to get is the terminal, which can be found shortly after you're given the warthog by Foehammer.

After saving the first lifeboat from the onslaught of Covenant enemies, drive the warthog towards the objective marker. You'll enter an underground structure that Cortana describes as "not a natural formation." Follow the path left as you enter and then right. Stop after you go over the first bump in the road and look to the right to spot a large window. Get out of the warthog and jump through the window to find a ledge with the terminal nestled behind you.

Skull 1: Give & Take

  • **Description:**Firing your weapon drains your shield, but dealing damage to enemies recharges it.

  • **Objective:**Eliminate hostiles and secure lifeboat crash sites.

Once you emerge from the underground structure, Foehammer will report on three lifeboats with survivors. This is where the mission opens up more, as you're given the choice of three objectives. Head towards the rightmost one, but before you enter through a narrow gap in the cliff with a purple torch, you'll see a stream going into a cave on your left.

Drive through here and partway down, you'll see green fireflies in the air, next to a large rock. Get out of the warthog and inspect the far side of the rock to find the skull levitating.

Skull 2: Floor is Lava

  • **Description:**Take continuous damage whenever touching the "ground."

  • **Objective:**Eliminate hostiles and secure lifeboat crash sites.

Turn around and continue going to the rightmost objective. You'll emerge into a large, open area with numerous rocky formations. Head to the back of this valley, where you'll find a marine who will offer you his sniper rifle.

Go to the edge of this rock and look towards the burning lifeboat. Beneath you will be another huge rock. If you look closely, you'll see the skull resting in a crevice. Jump down and interact with it to pick it up.

Skull 3: Grunt Funeral

  • **Description:**Grunts die in a blaze of plasma.

  • **Objective:**Eliminate hostiles and secure lifeboat crash sites.

Finally, for the third skull, head back the way you came and, this time, go for the leftmost objective. This one has a tall Covenant structure in the middle, and the marines you're rescuing are underground. However, to find the skull, you need to climb to the middle of the large structure.

This is where you need to grenade jump. Go up the ramp, and you'll see a diagonal part of the structure that you can walk up. Climb to the top of this section, then turn around. You'll be able to see the skull resting on a ledge on the opposite, more vertical part of the structure.

Throw a grenade at your feet behind you, then right before it explodes, jump. If you time it right and get the angle correct, you should have enough momentum to land on the ledge with the skull.
