It’s called the superhero – I got the recipe off the internet – and it contains banana, oats, peanut butter, coconut milk, rice milk and vegan protein.

I’m a face flannel fan
Old fashioned but effective. I use with Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm (£52, elemis.com) to remove make-up.
I embraced tweakments at 50
I now have facials with microneedling as this really gets the product into the skin (Korean Glass Skin Facial, £195, drdavidjack.com). I don’t like needles but you can lose a phobia when you think you’ll leave looking a bit younger! I also have injectables – skin hydrator Skinvive (from £350, skinvive.co.uk) and collagen booster HarmonyCA (from £350, harmonyca.uk). People think they change your face but they just give you your skin, but better – mine now needs less moisturiser and make-up sits more smoothly.
I had my brows microbladed
People were shocked I was open about this, but it wasn’t like I had a facelift. I went to Karen Betts (from £495, karenbetts.com).
My bad haircuts are all on the internet
It’s been bleached blonde and two inches long. I blame it on my job. I prefer extensions to wigs for work now. I’m going to try grey blending. I use Philip Kingsley Body Building Weightless Shampoo and Conditioner (from £12.50 each, philipkingsley.co.uk), Shu Uemura Essence Absolue Nourishing Protective Hair Oil (£36.50, boots.com) and Garnier Banana Hair Food Multi-Use Mask (£8.99, lookfantastic.com). So good.
I love Sudocrem
I use it for everything – it’s a staple. I’m thin skinned, in more ways than one, so I’m careful about what I apply. I like SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic serum (£169, lookfantastic.com) and I’m a big fan of toners – they feel a bit 1980s but I’m back into them. I switch between Sisley Paris Floral Toning Lotion (£58, sisley-paris.com) and Beauty of Joseon Glow Replenishing Rice Milk (£15.50, lookfantastic.com). I’m also into Laneige Bouncy & Firm Sleeping Mask (£32, cultbeauty.co.uk). Avène Cicalfate+ Restorative Protective Cream (£10, boots.com) is great for dry patches.
I like a luxe shower
I apply L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil (£24, spacenk.com) on my body and, on my face, Embryolisse Exfoliating Milk Powder (£22, sephora.co.uk). Afterwards I slather on Wibergs Pine Hand & Body Cream (£15, amazon.co.uk).
I adore make-up
And I now have a hair and make-up artist under my roof: my daughter [Maggie, 21, with husband actor Matthew Macfadyen]. I use Dior Forever Skin Glow Foundation (£52) and Nude Radiant Filter powder (£51, both sephora.co.uk), plus Trinny London Flush Blush (£24) and Eye2Eye shimmer eyeshadow (£20, both trinnylondon.com). Charlotte Tilbury Exagger-Eyes Volume Mascara (£28, sephora.co.uk) and No7 Pro Artist Runway Ready Brow Gel (£14.95, boots.com) are staples.
I’ve found the only exercise I like
It’s reformer pilates. I go to classes with weights.
