Medical Aid for Palestinians has warned that Palestinians in Nablus are facing an "existential threat" following an overnight escalation in settler attacks and military raids, which also saw healthcare facilities targeted.

Aseel Baidoun, MAP’s Deputy Director of Advocacy and Campaigns said that an Israeli military raid on Nablus Specialised Hospital marks an escalation in the violence, noting that patients were arrested while ambulances were barred from reaching wounded Palestinians.

“These are not isolated incidents – they reflect a wider pattern of violence, intimidation, and obstruction that is putting Palestinian lives at increasing risk. Without meaningful accountability, this pattern of impunity will continue," he said.

He called on the UK government to act, warning that it "cannot wait until the West Bank reaches the point of no return".

”The question now is how much further this will be allowed to go. The UK must act urgently to prevent further atrocities."
