According to Ukrinform, President Volodymyr Zelensky reported this on Telegram.

“In total, this week, Russia has used nearly 1,700 drones, more than 1,630 guided aerial bombs, and 95 missiles of various types against Ukraine, with more than half of them being ballistic missiles,” Zelensky stated.

In particular, last night the Russians fired 8 missiles and 136 drones of various types at Ukraine.

The attacks targeted the Kherson, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Sumy, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Chernihiv regions, as well as Kyiv. The capital was struck by a ballistic missile, leaving three people injured.

According to Zelensky, efforts are currently underway to address the aftermath of a strike by a combat drone on residential buildings in Kharkiv, where one person was killed, and nine others were injured, including two children. All necessary emergency services are involved in the clean-up operations.

Additionally, units of the State Emergency Service continue to fight a fire at a construction supply hypermarket in Kryvyi Rih.

Zelensky emphasized that the government is working daily with partners to ensure Ukrainian troops have the means to counter these strikes.

“We must undercut Russia’s gamble on ballistic terror. That is why it is so important that deliveries of anti-ballistic defense packages arrive on time. Every interceptor missile right now is literally helping save lives if it is here, in Ukrainian systems, not in our partners' warehouses. Thank you to everyone who is helping in exactly this way,” the president emphasized.

For his part, Ukrainian Minister of Internal Affairs Ivan Vyhivskyi reported that the most extensive damage from the attack was in the Sumy, Kharkiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions, as well as in Kyiv.

In the capital, three people—two men and a woman—were injured as a result of the strike.

Civilian facilities were damaged, including a pharmaceutical company and a drinking water reservoir.

In the Sumy region, according to Vyhivskyi, Russian forces carried out a dozen drone strikes. Apartment buildings, private homes, gas stations, and stores have been damaged.

In the Kharkiv region, two people, including a child, were injured as a result of Russian shelling.

This morning in Kharkiv, the Russians struck a residential area: One person was killed, and two children, among others, were injured. At least 14 private houses were damaged.

As Vyhivskyi noted, rescue workers in the Dnipropetrovsk region are currently fighting a large-scale fire: In Kryvyi Rih, enemy strikes destroyed a construction supply hypermarket. The fire engulfed over 16,000 square meters. The fire has been contained, but constant air raid alerts and the threat of further strikes complicate extinguishing efforts.

Robotic and unmanned vehicles are being deployed to help clean up the aftermath of the attacks and ensure the safety of rescue workers. All necessary police units are also on the ground. Psychologists are providing support to those affected, and investigators are documenting this latest strike on civilian targets, Vyhivskyi noted.

As previously reported, Air Defense Forces intercepted one Kh-59/69 precision-guided missile, five Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles, and 104 drones used by Russian forces to attack Ukraine beginning on the evening of July 25.
