According to Ukrinform, Head of the Chernihiv City Military Administration, Dmytro Bryzhynskyi reported the attack on Telegram.

"A UAV strike on an ATB supermarket in the ZAZ district has been recorded. At this time, we know of two people killed and three injured," Bryzhynskyi said.

He later clarified that one of those killed was a 10-year-old child.

Later, Bryzhynskyi reported that four people had been injured, with one of the victims in serious condition.

Emergency services are working at the site of the strike.

According to the latest information, the number of injured has risen to seven.

The consequences of the attack are still being assessed.
