SM Seaside City Cebu held Coffee Fest 2026 at the Mountain Wing Atrium in partnership with Bo’s Coffee, transforming the venue into a coffee market and event space featuring live brewing demonstrations, guided tastings, specialty brews, and a mix of café and lifestyle merchants.

The festival is part of SM Supermalls’ Coffee N’ Chill Festival, running across 75 participating malls nationwide. Participating merchants at the Coffee Market included Bo’s Coffee, Tuburan Cafe, Quintessential Cafe, Coffee Spot, Cebu Coffee Solutions, Cinnabon, Cookie Bestie, Gelatissimo, Gutzy Prints, and The SM Store.

The Coffee Club: grounds for conversation

The centerpiece of the festival was The Coffee Club: Grounds for Conversation, held in partnership with Bo’s Coffee. The program included live pour-over demonstrations, signature beverage showcases, and guided coffee tastings introducing guests to different brewing methods and flavor profiles associated with specialty Philippine coffee.

John Dy Aranas, Assistant Mall Manager of SM Seaside City Cebu, said the festival was designed to give visitors a perspective on coffee beyond what they typically encounter in a café setting.

“Coffee has always been more than just a beverage. It brings people together, sparks conversations, and creates memorable experiences. Through Coffee Fest, we wanted people to discover not only great coffee but also the artistry and passion behind every cup,” Aranas said.

He added that the partnership with Bo’s Coffee was a deliberate choice given the brand’s focus on locally sourced Philippine beans and its relationship with Filipino coffee farming communities.

“We’re grateful to Bo’s Coffee for sharing their knowledge, expertise, and passion for Philippine coffee with us. Events like this allow people to appreciate the hard work, creativity, and stories behind every brew,” Aranas said.

Brewing community, one experience at a time

Beyond the coffee demonstrations and merchant market, the festival included additional activities for visitors. The Coffee Club: Skater Rink combined skating with café culture programming. Coffee Portrait sessions and Pickle, Sip and Serve were also available as part of the event’s recreational lineup.

Fan community gatherings were also part of the program, with A Latte Love Cup Sleeve activities organized for BTS ARMYs and SEVENTEEN CARATs within the festival space.

Coffee Fest 2026 reminds us that every cup carries more than aroma and flavor. It carries craftsmanship, community, and countless stories waiting to be discovered. As a component of the broader SM Supermalls, Coffee N’ Chill Festival is running across 75 malls in the Philippines.
