This is the hilarious moment a cleaner stole the show at the Commonwealth Games with his outrageous dance moves to Queen while mopping the netball court.

CJ Miller - now dubbed 'Mop Man' - broke out into a boogie while scrubbing the floor in Glasgow yesterday as Freddie Mercury sang 'I Want to Break Free' over the speakers.

The Scotsman was in centre court when the music came on and he was immediately brought to life - starting the incredible routine by doing the splits while standing.

The crowd started cheering as Mop Man ballroom danced with his squeegee and then broke it down and did 'The Worm' along the floor.

After an impressive full split, he struts around with the mop before continuing to scrub in time with the music.

Mr Miller works as a performer and choreographer, according to his Instagram account, where he posts videos and pictures of his impressive dances regularly.

Reporters caught up with him afterwards, and he said his dancing was inspired by rapper Cardi B, famed for her dance routines.

Speaking to Australian broadcaster 7 News, he said: 'I think that the spirit of the music just took me away.

'Freddie Mercury. And I just thought, you know what, what better way to clean the netball court with a little bit of twerking going on there.'

When asked if he realised he had gone viral, he joked: 'No, I didn't. I did not know this at all.

'I was informed this morning. I've got my Starbucks. But apparently now, in the words of me, a goth, I'm a star!

'I think I should be asking for more money, actually. I should get my agent on the phone.'

Another video of Mr Miller has also emerged where he takes off to the same song while manning a hoover at the bowls this morning.

This time he abandons the vacuum and opts to do a flip, which he lands in a pike form on the ground.

Then, after some flashy moves, the music stops, and Mr Miller hurries back to his colleagues and his vacuum and walks off to loud cheers and smiling comments from his friends.

The video is captioned: 'Bro needs to be at the gymnastics, not the bowls'.

Social media has become awash with videos of Mr Miller's extravagant dancing, and he has replied to some with his dance account.

He founded and runs his own dance school, Fifth Dimension Initiative, according to his Instagram.

Today the Commonwealth Games has been hosting a huge array of sports with bowls, weightlifting, athletics, swimming, boxing and cycling all being on the docket, along with loads more.

Australia currently leads the medal table by some distance with 17 gold medals, more than triple England's, which comes in second with only 5.

Nigeria is third, hosts Scotland are fourth and Canada comes in fifth.
