According to Ukrinform, Sumy Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Hryhorov announced the attacks on Telegram.

"Another night of enemy attacks in the Sumy region. In Sumy, Russian forces struck a residential area on the outskirts of the city with guided aerial bombs. Medical personnel are providing assistance to the injured," Hryhorov said.

He added that a strike drone hit a civilian infrastructure facility in Nedryhailiv, causing a fire at the impact site.

Preliminary reports indicate that three people were injured. They are receiving the necessary medical care.

Earlier, Ukrinform reported that between the morning of July 26 and the morning of July 27, Russian forces launched nearly 80 attacks on 24 settlements across 20 territorial communities in the Sumy region. Nine people, including one child, were injured.
