She shared details of the visit on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

According to Zelenska, the center is filled with "an incredible atmosphere of curiosity." During her visit, primary school students were learning about the traditional clothing of the Bukovyna region, older students took part in an "archaeological expedition" during a history and geography lesson, while the youngest children explored the history of the Khotyn Fortress.

"These are exactly the moments that help children forget about hospital wards, at least for a while. Education here is not only about gaining knowledge. It is also psychological support, positive emotions, communication, and a sense of normal life that gives children strength on their road to recovery," Zelenska said.

The First Lady noted that her foundation has been supporting the development of the Superhero School network for the past three years. During that time, 12 new educational centers have been opened in children's hospitals across Ukraine.

Since the Chernivtsi center began operating, more than 1,300 children have studied there. During the 2025–2026 academic year, the Superhero School network served more than 22,500 young patients, delivering nearly 119,000 lessons.

Zelenska thanked the teachers, educators, psychologists and medical staff who create an environment of care, support and development for hospitalized children every day.

She also expressed gratitude to international partners whose contributions help Ukrainian children continue learning and growing despite the challenges of war. Zelenska noted that the Chernivtsi education center was established with the support of Finnish philanthropists.

"I am pleased that this project continues to grow. By the end of 2026, we plan to open eight more educational centers," the First Lady said.

She stressed that a child's life should not come to a halt after being admitted to a hospital. Medical treatment is only one stage, she said, and it is essential that children continue learning, making new discoveries, communicating with others, engaging in creative activities, and experiencing as normal a childhood as possible.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, the Kirovohrad region will receive its first Superhero School educational center, which will be established in Kropyvnytskyi.
