We sat down with Nyida Gyal to discuss Algomarket, a newly launched cross-venue prediction market analytics platform that tracks whale holdings, arbitrage opportunities, and live market data. The platform processes data from hundreds of thousands of markets across Polymarket and Kalshi to help traders identify mispriced contracts and follow smart money movements.
What does Algomarket do?
Algomarket is a cross-venue prediction market analytics platform that tracks whale holdings, arbitrage opportunities, and live market data across Polymarket and Kalshi. It helps traders identify mispriced contracts and follow smart money movements with real-time dashboards, whale leaderboards, and an automated arbitrage scanner. The platform processes data from 700K+ markets and 250+ top traders, for open use to prediction market participants. Now’s a good time for Algomarket to exist because of the recent booming interest in event-driven prediction markets and the growing need to democratize analytics to level the playing field for retail traders.
What is your traction to date?
Algomarket is a newly launched project with a small initial audience. Currently, it is primarily used by myself for development and testing. The platform is publicly accessible and ready for users, but has not yet been marketed to a wider audience.
Who does your Algomarket serve?
Algomarket is designed for:
-
Retail prediction market traders who want to track whale movements and identify arbitrage opportunities across Polymarket and Kalshi.
-
Quantitative analysts and researchers studying prediction market behavior, institutional money flows, and cross-venue price discrepancies.
-
DeFi participants and crypto traders looking for data-driven insights into event-driven markets.
What technologies were used in the making of Algomarket? And why did you choose the ones most essential to your tech stack?
Algomarket leverages a modern web stack featuring Next.js 14, React, and TypeScript for a robust, scalable front end, styled beautifully with Tailwind CSS and Framer Motion. Data management and state are efficiently handled using better-sqlite3, Zustand, and React Query, while Node.js and Recharts provide the dynamic data visualizations necessary for real-time market analytics.
What excites you about Algomarket's potential usefulness?
What excites me most about Algomarket is its potential to democratize prediction market intelligence. Currently, retail traders are at a significant disadvantage because institutional players and whales have access to better data and analytics tools.
Algomarket levels the playing field by providing:
-
Real-time whale tracking that reveals where smart money is moving, allowing smaller traders to follow institutional flows.
-
Cross-venue arbitrage detection that identifies price discrepancies between Polymarket and Kalshi, enabling users to capture potential arbitrage opportunities.
-
Transparent market screening that helps traders identify mispriced contracts and undervalued opportunities.
