MOSCOW, July 29. /TASS/. The launch range and effectiveness of the latest RVV-SDM missile for the Su-57E fighter jet have been increased, and a passive radar homing channel has been added for complete stealth, Deputy Chairman of Soyuzmash (the Union of Russian Machine Builders) and CEO of the state arms exporter Rosoboronexport Alexander Mikheyev said.

It was earlier reported that Rosoboronexport is beginning to promote the new RVV-SDM air-to-air missile on foreign markets, designed to engage aircraft, helicopters, cruise missiles, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

"Its launch range, propulsion system power, and operational efficiency have been increased, and its aerodynamic characteristics have been improved. Furthermore, the missile has been equipped with a passive radar homing channel, which ensures complete stealth, guidance precision, launch-and-forget effectiveness, and resistance to jamming," Mikheyev said.
