Ridge School, Kurnool, was conferred the prestigious British Council’s Recognition of International Dimension in Schools (RIDS) 2026-2029 at a grand ceremony in New Delhi. The award was received by Ridge School CEOs Gopinath Guduri and Sowmya Gopinath in the presence of RIDS coordinator Geetu Josi.
The RIDS is awarded to institutions that successfully integrate international perspectives into teaching and learning, enabling students to develop global awareness, cross-cultural understanding, critical thinking, collaboration, and responsible citizenship, a press release from the school management said on Wednesday.
Receiving the honour, Mr. Gopinath Guduri said, “It reflects our shared vision of providing an education that prepares students to thrive in a globally connected world while remaining rooted in strong values. We sincerely thank everyone who has contributed to this remarkable achievement.”
The school management expressed its gratitude to the British Council for the prestigious recognition and congratulated the entire Ridge School community on achieving the significant milestone.
The achievement further strengthens Ridge School’s reputation as one of the leading CBSE schools in the region.
