As many as 8,329 students secured Plus One higher secondary school/combination transfer allotment in Malappuram district. Across the State, 31,496 students of the 50,568 students whose online applications for school/combination transfer were confirmed received allotment. In Malappuram, 13,143 applications were confirmed, while 4,814 students did not get a transfer.

Among those who secured transfer in the district, 6,118 students got a school change, 2,211 secured a course change, 3,452 received school and course change, and 2,666 got a school change while retaining the same course. As many as 4,939 vacancies remain in the district.

In Kozhikode, 4,055 of the 6,662 students whose applications were confirmed received transfer allotment, while in Palakkad 3,487 of 5,314 confirmed applications got transfer. As many as 2,724 vacancies are left in Kozhikode and 2,737 in Palakkad. In Thrissur, where 2,395 students secured transfer, 3,224 vacancies remain. Across Kerala, 24,594 students got a school change, 6,902 students secured a course change; 13,795 received both school and course change and 10,799 were allotted a different school while retaining the same course.

As many as 40,917 vacancies remain after school/combination transfer process. Transfer allotment was carried out against merit-seat vacancies remaining after the first supplementary allotment, as well as seats created in 120 additional temporary batches sanctioned in Palakkad, Malappuram. Kozhikode, and Kasaragod districts. Admission to the allotted seats has begun and will continue till Thursday.
