The former husband of a Massachusetts woman who’s on trial for killing their three children was back on the stand on Wednesday.

Jurors listened to the frantic 911 call Patrick Clancy made after returning home and finding Lindsay Clancy on the lawn of their home.

Patrick Clancy sobs and screams, “Oh my God!” while a confused dispatcher keeps asking what happened before he yells, “She killed the kids."

A model of the home was shown in court so prosecutors were able to point out the layout and where everything happened.

Prosecutors allege Lindsay Clancy, 34, strangled daughter Cora, 5, son Dawson, 3, and 8-month-old Callan after sending her husband out on errands. They say she then attempted to take her own life by jumping from a second-story window, leaving her paralyzed from the waist down.

Jurors watched surveillance video from CVS when Patrick Clancy called his wife with a question about which medicine to pick up.

“She was pretty quiet. It sounded like she was busy,” he testified Wednesday. “I remember hanging up thinking she was probably in the middle of giving baths or something like that.”

When he came home, the house was silent. Badly injured but conscious, she told her husband that the kids were in the basement, without saying they were dead, he testified. He searched the house until finding a lot of blood in the main bedroom.

Patrick Clancy's last fleeting image of 3-year-old Dawson was his son on the couch eating chicken nuggets and green beans. Lindsay Clancy had asked her then-husband to pick up food and stop by the pharmacy. Prosecutors say this shows she acted intentionally and bears full responsibility for the deaths of Dawson, 5-year-old Cora, and 8-month-old Callan.

In the courtroom, Lindsay Clancy sobbed as the 911 call was played, and her parents also appeared to be crying. Patrick Clancy had left the court after finishing his testimony.

Patrick Clancy estimated that first responders arrived within 4-5 minutes, and said Lindsay was "in and out of consciousness" at the time.

Patrick Clancy testified Monday about her deteriorating mental health in the months before the killings, including describing intrusive thoughts of harming the children and of suicide. But he said she appeared to be doing better as recently as two weeks before the killings on Jan. 24, 2023.
