Exes Heaven Peralejo, Marco Gallo reunite, admit they missed each other
Former couple Heaven Peralejo and Marco Gallo admitted they missed each other as they reunited during the media conference for “Our Yesterday’s Escape,” the final chapter to Viva One’s “University Series,” which was headlined by Jairus Aquino and Nicole Omillo.
Aside from the aforementioned, other cast members, including Bea Binene, Wilbert Ross, Jerome Ponce, Krissha Viaje, Aubrey Caraan, Lance Carr, Gab Lagman and Hyacinth Callado, gathered to promote the sixth installment of the hit franchise on Wednesday, July 29, at a mall in Quezon City.
During the press conference, Gallo and Peralejo were asked about their reunion after ending their relationship in 2025, as they appeared still comfortable and affectionate toward each other.

“Na-miss ko lang. Okay lang ba ‘yun? Na miss mo ba ako, Heaven? Madali lang sagot, oo o hindi,” Gallo said.
Peralejo replied, “Ilang years kami magkasama — and yes. Na miss ko si Marco.”
Gallo noted they have already moved past the difficult period following their breakup and are now on good terms.
“To be quite honest with you, I would not like to put so much pressure on the topic (closeness and sweetness) because, obviously, as exes, we had the phase na medyo nagkainitan kami. Pero ngayon, okay na kami. As in, walang galit, and I’m really just happy being around you, and it’s fun to work with you, so work na lang muna tayo,” he said.
Peralejo confirmed in July 2025 that she and Gallo had ended their relationship through a mutual decision. At the time, she said they remained good friends and was open to working with him again on future projects.

The pair also looked back on their journey in the “University Series,” where they first became an on-screen pair in “The Rain in España,” based on the novel by Gwy Saludes. They portrayed Kalix and Luna.
Peralejo turned emotional as she reflected on how the franchise grew following the first installment which she and Gallo headlined.

“Nagsimula kami magsisimula pa lang ‘yung VivaOne. Magmo-mall show kami, walang tao. Ganon ‘yung simula namin. Then makikita natin ngayon lumalaki, so hindi lang ako ready na matapos lang ‘to, ‘yung pinaghirapan namin hindi pa pwede matapos,” she said.
“Our Yesterday’s Escape,” starring Aquino and Omillo, is the sixth installment of the “University Series,” which also includes “The Rain in España,” “Safe Skies, Archer,” “Chasing in the Wild,” “Avenues of the Diamond” and “Golden Scenery of Tomorrow.” The final installment premieres Sept. 5 on Viva One. /ra
