"The loss of each separate F16 aircraft is a serious blow to Kiev, because Ukraine is unable to produce them on its own," the article says.

The Ukrainian Air Force said on Telegram on July 29 that Ukraine had lost an F-16 fighter jet. In 2025, Ukraine lost about 20 fighter jets, including F-16s.
