The Special Operations Forces (SOF) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced the incident on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

Emergency response measures are currently underway to deal with the aftermath, while authorities are working to determine the cause and circumstances of the incident. Relevant services are operating at the scene.

Information regarding casualties and fatalities is still being verified.

"Additional information will be provided once the initial response measures have been completed," the SOF said.

As reported by Ukrinform, several explosions were heard in the city of Khmelnytskyi in the afternoon of July 31. No air raid alert was in effect in the city at the time.
