If you're in the market for a new electric car and want to save yourself a decent slice of money, then £3,750 off isn't something to turn your nose up at.
That's the amount the Government will discount certain new EVs by, provided they have been classified as having the maximum sustainability score for their manufacturing process.
Under the Electric Car Grant (ECG), Labour has awarded more than 15 new EVs, all costing under £37,000, its full Band One grant of almost £4,000.
The ECG replaces the Conservatives' scrapped Plug-in Car Grant, which ended in 2022.
Since the ECG started on July 15, it has helped more than 140,000 drivers save thousands on their new car.
So, here are all the new EVs that have £3,750 automatically knocked off the price when you buy them.
The Alpine A290+ sporty city EV has a range of up to 236 miles and offers up to 326 litres of boot space. The £3,750 grant brings the price down to just over £30k
Alpine A290+

Manufactured by Renault's racing brand, Alpine, the A290+ is a sporty French hatchback made for electric driving thrills, with up to 220hp and a range of up to 236 miles.
It offers up to 326 litres of boot space, five seats for everyday practicality and a racing-inspired interior.
The BMW iX1 is a mid-sized, luxury electric SUV which takes styling cues from the X3, X5 and iX and can do 272 miles on a charge

The BMW iX1 is a mid-sized luxury electric SUV that takes styling cues from the X3, X5 and iX, with a quiet luxury interior and a 21-inch curved screen.
It has an official range of between 257 and 272 miles on a single charge, can recharge from 10 to 80 per cent in 30 minutes and offers a 490-litre boot.
Both the BMW iX2 (left) eDrive20 Sport and M Sport versions qualify for the maximum grant amount, with the M Sport covering 0-62mph in 8.6 seconds
BMW iX2
Price with ECG: from £33,315
The iX2 is the coupé version of the iX1 and is mainly designed for people who want a sportier-looking SUV.
Both the BMW iX2 eDrive20 Sport and M Sport versions qualify for the grant, with the M Sport covering 0-62mph in 8.6 seconds.
The maximum range is 320 miles on a single charge.
The e-C5's Long Range version has 422 miles of charge on offer which should be enough to get you from London to Edinburgh
Citroen e-C5 Aircross Long Range
Price with ECG: from £35,205
The e-C5 Aircross Long Range is Citroen's all-electric SUV, capable of travelling an impressive 421 miles on a single charge, putting it close to best-in-class territory.
With a 97kWh battery and a 230hp motor, the e-C5 is a family SUV that can cover long distances while offering generous passenger space, a well-designed interior and a 10-inch cascading screen.
The Fiat 500e is one of the cheapest models eligible for the full £3,750 grant, bringing its price down to just under £21k

The Fiat 500e is exactly what you'd expect: the electric version of the 500, one of the most popular superminis on sale.
You get 199 miles of range, rapid charging to 80 per cent in 30 minutes and 16-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, there's a 10.25-inch central touchscreen and a 7-inch driver's display.
The E-Tourneo Courier is the only MPV on the list and has a massive 2,162 litres of cabin space to play with. At under £30k with the ECG, it's a viable large family car

Price with ECG: £29,940
The only five-seat MPV in this list, the E-Tourneo Courier has a range of 198 miles and can recharge from 10 to 80 per cent in 26 minutes or add 69 miles of range in just ten minutes.
But it's the practicality that sells this MPV, with a customisable centre-console storage area, up to 2,162 litres of luggage space, enough for bikes, buggies or camping gear, and clever storage solutions to keep everything tidy and secure.

Price with ECG: from £26,245
The Puma Gen-E was Ford's first EV priced at under £30,000, but thanks to the ECG it's even cheaper now.
The small family EV has a range of 259 miles, charges from 10 to 80 per cent in 26 minutes and comes with a 12-inch touchscreen and B&O sound system.
The Puma's party piece is its 566 litres of storage when you combine its boot, interior 'Gigabox' underfloor compartment and front boot.
The Kona Electric is available in three variants and has up to 319 miles of range
Hyundai Kona Electric
Price with ECG: from £31,250
Hyundai's Kona Electric was one of the first mass-market family electric SUVs when it arrived in 2018 and continues to be hugely popular today.
Available in three variants and offering up to 319 miles of range, the Kona Electric has a rear bench designed to maximise second-row space. It also boasts a 466-litre boot and a 27-litre front trunk.
The Kia EV2 has a range of up to 275 miles and fast charging from 10 to 80% in 29 minutes

Price with ECG: from £24,245
This compact, boxy SUV has a 61kWh battery and a range of up to 275 miles.
The Kia EV2 can also fast-charge from 10 to 80 per cent in 29 minutes.
Inside, the compact dimensions open up to a spacious and versatile cabin with heated front seats.
Technology includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a 12.3-inch driver's display and a 5.3-inch climate-control screen.
The Kia EV4 can charge up to 391 miles and recharge from 10 to 80% in 31 minutes

The EV4 is Kia's spacious electric hatchback, designed to maximise comfort with features including relaxation seats with theatre and rest modes, as well as animated ambient lighting.
With a range of up to 391 miles on a single charge and the ability to recharge from 10 to 80 per cent in under 31 minutes, it's a family EV that can go the distance.
The first and only BMW EV to have been granted the ECG is the Mini Countryman

The Mini Countryman Electric is no small car and even features Mini's ALL4 all-wheel-drive system for those wanting additional capability.
You can travel up to 310 miles on a single charge, making it suitable for weekend getaways as well as daily driving. There's also up to 313hp on offer.
The Nissan Leaf is now discounted £3,750 thanks to the full ECG

The Nissan Leaf was the first mass-market EV and is now in its third generation.
Completely redesigned inside and out, the third iteration Leaf is now a crossover with a range of 387 miles and a fast-charging time of 10 to 80 per cent in as little as 35 minutes.
It has dual screens with Google Built-in, a dimming panoramic sunroof and voice assistance.
The Nissan Micra 52kWh brings back the Micra nameplate and can manage 257 miles on a single charge

The Nissan Micra EV revives the supermini nameplate after five generations, this time as a small electric car.
Drivers get up to 257 miles of range, fast charging from 15 to 80 per cent in 30 minutes and an interior made using sustainable materials, featuring dual 10.1-inch displays with Google Built-in.
Renault R4 brings back the R4 of old, but these days is an EV with a range of 398 miles

The Renault 4 is back, and it's fully electric.
The compact SUV combines retro styling, including roof rails and a boxy silhouette, with a claimed range of 398 miles and a top speed of 93mph.
The modular interior features dual 10-inch screens, 23.1 litres of cabin storage and a range of customisable accessories.
The R5 EV is the only new EV to have a waitlist due to its popularity. The retro car can do 250 miles on one charge
Renault 5 E-Tech 52kWh
Price with ECG: from £21,495
Renault's new R5, another retro-inspired EV alongside the R4, has become the only new EV to attract a waiting list.
Its funky exterior design is mirrored inside, with a multi-coloured denim-themed cabin. Technology includes dual 10-inch screens, an Arkamys sound system and quirky details such as a lipstick tube-style gear selector.
Designed primarily for urban use, the R5 offers a range of up to 250 miles on a single charge and supports rapid charging.
The Renault Scenic EV is a family-friendly option and can cover 381 miles on a single charge

Price with ECG: from £33,245
More family-focused than the R4 or R5, the Renault Scenic EV delivers 220hp and a range of up to 381 miles.
Renault says 89 per cent of the vehicle is recyclable, helping it achieve the maximum ECG sustainability rating.
There's also a 545-litre boot, 30 safety systems and access to more than 100 apps through Google Built-in.
