Zelensky also awarded 360 more military personnel, 146 of them posthumously.

The corresponding decrees No. 681/2026 and No. 691/2026, dated July 31, 2026, have been published on the President’s website, according to Ukrinform.

The document states that the awards were granted for personal bravery demonstrated in defending Ukraine’s state sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as for the selfless fulfillment of military duty.

The defenders were awarded the President of Ukraine’s “Cross of Combat Merit” and received the Orders of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, Danylo Halytsky, and “For Courage,” as well as the medals “For Military Service to Ukraine,” “Defender of the Fatherland,” “For Impeccable Service,” and “For a Life Saved.”
