The Telegram channel ASTRA reported the incident in a post, according to Ukrinform.
The media outlet said local residents reported drone attacks and explosions. Monitoring channels had also warned of a drone threat in Russia's Republic of Bashkortostan.
Regional head Radiy Khabirov said the drone attack on Ufa had been repelled and that smoke in the industrial zone resulted from falling drone debris.
"Debris from a downed drone fell within the industrial zone, causing smoke. All emergency services are on site and are promptly dealing with the consequences. There are no fatalities or injuries," Khabirov said.
The Bashneft-Ufaneftekhim refinery is located in Ufa's Northern Industrial Zone and is part of the Bashneft Group, which is owned by Rosneft. The refinery processes up to 8.2 million metric tonnes of crude oil annually, producing motor fuels, petroleum coke, liquefied gases, sulfur, and aromatic hydrocarbons.
Bashneft operates three major refineries in the Northern Industrial Zone—Bashneft-Ufaneftekhim, Bashneft-Novoil, and Bashneft-UNPZ—which together form the Ufa Refining Complex, one of Russia's largest. Their combined processing capacity reaches 23.5 million metric tonnes of crude oil per year.

Earlier, on June 25, Ukrainian drones also targeted refineries in Ufa, including Bashneft-Ufaneftekhim.
According to the Russian service of the BBC, beginning at 09:00 Moscow time, Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) suspended operations at airports in Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Nizhnekamsk, Bugulma, Cheboksary, Ufa, and Orenburg. Rosaviatsiya typically closes airports due to the threat of Ukrainian drone attacks.
Three hours earlier, restrictions had also been introduced at Moscow's Domodedovo Airport and Tambov Airport, and they remained in effect.
Russia's Ministry of Defense stated on Saturday morning that between 20:00 Friday and 07:00 Saturday, air defenses shot down 274 Ukrainian long-range drones over 16 Russian regions, temporarily occupied Crimea, and the Black and Azov Seas.
In addition to Crimea and the surrounding waters, drones were reportedly intercepted over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Volgograd, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk, Oryol, Rostov, Ryazan, Saratov, Smolensk, Tambov, Tula, and Moscow regions, as well as Krasnodar Krai.
Ukrinform also reported that Ukraine's Defense Forces struck two railway bridges, a storage site for unmanned naval surface vessels, and a radio-electronic intelligence unit of Russia's Black Sea Fleet in temporarily occupied Crimea.
