Kyiv police announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"As of 14:00, the number of people injured in Kyiv has risen to 33, including four minors. Nine people were killed," the statement said.

"All concerned services continue to work at the sites of the enemy strikes," Kyiv police added.

Earlier reports said that nine people had been killed and 30 injured, including four children, in the Russian attack on the capital overnight on August 1.
