According to Ukrinform, the Head of the Sloviansk City Military Administration, Vadym Liakh, reported this on Facebook.
"There were loud explosions in Sloviansk. On Sunday, August 2, at around 11:00, the enemy carried out an airstrike on the city using a FAB-250 bomb. The strikes hit the central part of the city and the Zaliznychnyi neighborhood. About a dozen private houses and an administrative building were damaged or destroyed. At present, one injured person has been confirmed. A man born in 1965 is currently undergoing surgery, and doctors are fighting to save his life," Liakh wrote.

He urged residents to take care of themselves.
"We are holding on. We are together!" the head of Sloviansk added.
As Ukrinform previously reported, Russian forces shelled settlements in the Donetsk region 25 times over the past day.
