According to Ukrinform, the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, stated this on Telegram.

"As a result of the enemy strike on the outskirts of Kharkiv, freight trucks, containers, and equipment at a postal terminal caught fire. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties," Syniehubov initially wrote.

About an hour and a half later, he updated his report.

"Unfortunately, one person was killed as a result of the enemy strike on the outskirts of Kharkiv. My deepest condolences to the victim's family and loved ones. The fire has now been contained. At the same time, law enforcement officers, medical personnel, and emergency responders are continuing to search the area for possible victims. Efforts to deal with the aftermath of the strike are ongoing," Syniehubov added.

As Ukrinform previously reported, Russian shelling of the Kharkiv region injured ten people, including three minors, and damaged civilian infrastructure facilities.
