Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, said this in a Telegram post, according to Ukrinform.

"The number of people injured in the enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia has risen to 21," Fedorov wrote.

He also reported that the body of a 71-year-old woman was found under the rubble of a building.

"Unfortunately, a 71-year-old woman was killed under the rubble of the building," Fedorov said.

The regional governor added that Russian forces dropped eight guided aerial bombs on the regional capital within an hour and a half, destroying residential and non-residential buildings.

Fedorov later reported that the number of people injured had risen to 31.

"Thirty-one people have now been injured in the enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia – unfortunately, the number of casualties continues to rise," the statement said.

As was earlier reported, the Russian army launched another guided bomb strike on Zaporizhzhia on Sunday evening. Eleven people had initially been reported injured.
