According to Ukrinform, the decree to that effect, No. 696/2026, was published on the presidential website.

"To dismiss Olga Vitaliivna Stefanishyna from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the United States of America," the document states.

Zelensky appointed Stefanishyna as Ukraine's ambassador to the United States on August 27, 2025. Prior to that, she served as Ukraine's Special Envoy for the Development of Cooperation with the United States. Before that, Stefanishyna was Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine.
