The Regional Passport Office (RPO), Chennai, will conduct a special Tatkaal passport drive at four Passport Seva Kendras (PSKs) in the region on August 8 to reduce waiting time for appointments.

The drive will be held at PSK Saligramam, PSK Aminjikarai, PSK Tambaram, and PSK Puducherry. As part of the initiative, 400 Tatkaal appointment slots each will be released at Saligramam, Aminjikarai, and Tambaram. Another 200 slots will be made available at PSK Puducherry.

The RPO said the special drive was aimed at providing faster and hassle-free passport and related administrative services to applicants in the Chennai Passport region. Applicants have been advised to submit their applications online at the earliest to secure appointment slots.
