BAGUIO CITY, Philippines — Classes at all levels in both public and private schools in La Trinidad, Benguet were suspended on Wednesday, Aug. 5, due to persistent heavy rains that have triggered landslides and soil erosion in parts of the municipality. La Trinidad Mayor Roderick Awingan ordered the suspension as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of students, teachers, and school personnel.
