Police are asking the public for help identifying a person they say can help with an investigation into a fatal house fire in Auckland.
Geoffrey Rollinson was found dead following the house fire on Onehunga's Trafalgar Street on 22 May.
Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Greaves said the person pictured could assist in the investigation.
"[We] are asking for the public's help to identify them."
"If you recognise this person or have any information that could assist Police in our inquiries, please contact 105, quoting reference number 260522/8479."
Police said information can be given anonymously through Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.
At the time of the fire, a neighbour - who didn't want to be named - said she went outside after hearing screams and saw flames coming from the house.
"The house was fully burning and on fire, and lots of smoke.
"I have to say, they [fire crew] were amazing. There were many of them ... I think if it wasn't for them our house would have burnt down as well," she said.
The neighbour believed the property was being used as a boarding house.
