The Kerala High Court has allowed the bail pleas of two more accused of attacking Directorate of Enforcement officials at Bakery Junction in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, during a raid on the residence of of former Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.

Bail had been granted to 13 other accused this week by the Single Bench of Kauser Edappagath, imposing various conditions such as depositing money, appearing before the investigating officer regularly and remaining within the State limits.

A total of 16 of the 25 arrested in connection with the incident have been granted bail. An FIR was registered against 300 individuals under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act, 1984 for assault and damage to official vehicles.

The raid was conducted as part of an inquiry into T. Veena, Mr. Vijayan’s daughter and owner of Exalogic, a now-defunct software solutions firm, who allegedly received monthly payments from Cochin Minerals and Rutile Limited, a private mining company.
