Voters in five states headed to the polls on Tuesday to cast their ballots in their primary elections, and all eyes were on the Democratic Senate primary in the battleground state of Michigan. Progressive candidate Abdul El-Sayed narrowly won against the more moderate Congresswoman Haley Stevens (D-MI), despite recent polling leading up to the race showing El-Sayed easily cruising to victory by double digits.
