According to Ukrinform, Polskie Radio reported this.

“I confirm with deep sorrow the death of a Polish volunteer in Ukraine who was killed as a result of Russian military action. We extend our deepest condolences to his loved ones,” Maciej Wewur, Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson, said on Tuesday, August 4.

He called for respect for the deceased’s family’s right to privacy and assured them that the foreign ministry and Poland’s diplomatic mission in Ukraine are ready to provide all possible consular assistance.

The humanitarian group Together for Ukraine first reported the death of the Polish volunteer on July 30; the man had been the administrator of the group’s social media pages.

It was noted that the volunteer was killed by a Russian drone strike in Kharkiv on July 27. According to media reports, the deceased was Marek Rusek-Wolski, who regularly transported humanitarian aid to Ukraine, delivering supplies to communities near the front lines.

As previously reported, a memorial service was held in Kyiv on August 4 for 20-year-old volunteer Vitalina Yarovenko, who died in Kyiv on the night of August 1 while rescuing people at the site of a missile strike.
