A day before the end of the deadline of August 10, 2026, for the house-to-house enumeration phase as part of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Telangana, 71.14% of the 3.38 crore Enumeration Forms were digitised.

The distribution and collection of the EFs began in the State on June 25, 2026. After extension of the deadline twice, the enumeration phase comes to an end on Monday (August 10, 2026). There are a total of 3,36,26,448 electors in the State and the forms were distributed to everyone. Of them, 2,64,30,484 were digitised till 6.00 p.m. on Sunday, as per official information from the State’s Chief Electoral Officer.

The draft electoral rolls will be published on August 17. Claims and objections can be filed from August 17 to September 16. Notice phase or disposal of claims and objections is between August 17 to October 15. The final electoral roll will be published on October 19, as per the revised schedule of the SIR-2026 in the State .
