Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"The enemy struck an infrastructure facility in Zaporizhzhia," the statement said.

No casualties have been reported so far.

Monitoring channels warned that Russian forces were dropping guided aerial bombs on the city.

Early on August 16, Russian forces attacked the Zaporizhzhia district with guided aerial bombs, killing two people and injuring one.
