Harry Potter star turned OnlyFans creator joined platform to help pay for childcare

A Harry Potter star turned to OnlyFans to help pay for her childcare after becoming “embarrassed” about her finances.

Jessie Cave, who played Lavender Brown in the popular film series, started posting videos of herself brushing her long hair on the platform in 2025, and says she has since made more money than she ever did throughout her “entire acting career”.

Appearing on This Morning on Thursday (20 August), the 39-year-old said: “People just assume I'm rich and I have loads of money, and no, I don't.”

Cave discussed the financial difficulties that can come with being an actor, as well as the costly price of childcare for four children.

“It just came to a moment a couple of years ago where I was like, ‘Oh, yeah, I really don't know what I would do,’ and this was an option.”
