The total value of the assistance exceeds EUR 1.2 million, Ukrinform reports, citing the Ukrainian Energy Ministry.
"The equipment will be used to restore power grids damaged by Russian attacks and improve the reliability of electricity supplies to consumers in the Kharkiv region, one of the regions that continues to face systematic attacks on energy infrastructure," the statement said.
The ministry noted that the transformers will help Ukrainian power engineers carry out restoration work more quickly and ensure reliable electricity supplies to consumers.

The ministry stressed that Australia remains a reliable partner for Ukraine in supporting the country's energy sector.
As reported, 21.9 tonnes of equipment provided by Lithuania were delivered from the Energy Ministry's emergency energy assistance warehouses to the Kharkiv region.
