Since first appearing on the Official Albums chart more than a decade ago, Ariana Grande has sent seven projects to the ranking, which tracks the most-consumed albums and EPs of any style in the United Kingdom. Sales and streaming activity have helped Grande maintain an unbroken streak of top 10 releases, and for roughly a decade, she has reached No. 1 with every new collection.

Grande will likely add to that total next month. Petal, her upcoming eighth album, is due at the end of July, and its first complete seven-day tracking period will almost certainly bring the superstar another leader.

Shortly before the project — which includes the huge hit “Hate That I Made You Love Me” — arrives in full, Grande’s Grammy-nominated most recent set, Eternal Sunshine, returns to multiple tallies and reaches a special landmark.

Eternal Sunshine has now spent 104 weeks on the Official Albums chart – exactly two years. The album improves from No. 81 to No. 77 this frame as it celebrates that milestone.

Grande released the full-length in March 2024, and it has lived on the 100-position ranking more often than not since then. Eternal Sunshine has slipped away only a handful of times throughout the past two years, but it always quickly finds its way back.

The project becomes Grande’s third album to rack up at least 104 weeks on the Official Albums chart. Dangerous Woman remains her longest-running success, with 116 frames to its credit. My Everything managed 105 — just one more than Eternal Sunshine. In only a matter of days, her latest release will likely tie that early-career win – and perhaps then it will pass it as Petal hits the chart.

Ariana Grande Has Scored Five No. 1 Albums in the U.K.

Eternal Sunshine is one of Grande’s five No. 1 releases on the Official Albums chart. It is also one of only two that held court in the top spot for more than a single period.

Thank U, Next controlled the ranking for three weeks, the longest reign of Grande’s career. Despite that run at the summit, the album did not reach triple digit weeks on the tally, instead spending 93 frames somewhere on the rundown. Dangerous Woman, Sweetener and Positions all ruled for one week apiece. Eternal Sunshine managed two periods at No. 1 during its earliest days.

Eternal Sunshine Returns to Two Sales Charts

Eternal Sunshine finds its way back to two U.K. rankings that focus entirely on purchases this week. The album reenters the Official Physical Albums and Official Albums Sales charts at Nos. 94 and 96, respectively. Eternal Sunshine previously peaked at No. 2 on each tally.

The set – which features the smashes “Yes, And?” and "We Can't Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)" – declines on only one ranking this frame. It slips a single space to No. 80 on the Official Albums Streaming chart, which it once ran the show.

Ariana Grande Climbs on Six Singles Charts

“Hate That I Made You Love Me” rises on all six charts on which it appears this week across the Atlantic. The Petal single performs best on the Official Singles chart, where it is still present inside the top 10.

Grande’s latest hit sits just outside that competitive tier on three additional U.K. rosters. “Hate That I Made You Love Me” misses becoming a top 10 win again on the Official Streaming, Official Physical Singles and Official Vinyl Singles charts.

“Hate That I Made You Love Me” also gains ground on both purchase-only tallies. The track pushes back into the top 40 on the Official Singles Sales chart and from No. 51 to No. 46 on the Official Singles Downloads roster.

Ariana Grande Doubles Up on the Physical Singles Chart

Grande occupies two spaces on the Official Physical Singles chart this week. While “Hate That I Made You Love Me” rises to No. 13, “Twilight Zone” returns in a much lower space, coming in at No. 80.
