According to Ukrinform, the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) under Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council reported this on Telegram.

"Facebook, Threads, and other social media platforms are being flooded with blatant fake news, disinformation, manipulative content, and unverified rumors about the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Primarily through bot accounts, false claims are being spread about alleged disputes between generals that supposedly nearly escalated into physical fights, as well as fabricated reports of 'unprecedented inspections, searches, and audits in military units,' the 'disbandment of Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Centers (TCRSCs),' or the 'deployment of all TCRSC personnel to the front,' among other claims. The coordinated mass dissemination of such content is intended to discredit Ukraine's military leadership, provoke internal conflicts, and create divisions within the country's Defense Forces," the statement said.

The CCD also noted that by circulating fabricated statements falsely attributed to Mykhailo Drapatyi, those behind the campaign are attempting to create unrealistic public expectations and a distorted perception of reality, with the aim of later discrediting the Commander-in-Chief over these issues.

As Ukrinform previously reported, General Staff spokesperson Dmytro Lykhovii stated that the spread of fake social media accounts impersonating the newly appointed Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Mykhailo Drapatyi, along with fabricated announcements about his alleged decisions, is part of a deliberate information operation targeting him.
