According to Ukrinform, Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych reported this on Telegram.

"Overnight, Russian scum attacked a residential area in Mykolaiv. The Russians killed an 89-year-old woman. My condolences. Seven more people were injured," the mayor said.

According to him, private homes and apartment buildings sustained significant damage.

"Immediately after the air raid alert ended, municipal services went to the scene to assess the situation and determine the priority work. Municipal utility crews are now preparing to deploy to help residents as quickly as possible and begin clearing up the aftermath," Sienkevych added.

On August 3, Russian forces attacked Mykolaiv, damaging two civilian vessels.
