Shakira and Beyoncé have proved they have not aged a day in 21 years as they reunited at the 2026 World Cup.

The hitmakers are two of the biggest powerhouses in the music industry, after both shooting to fame in the late nineties.

The pair then put on a racy display for their 2007 collaboration on Beautiful Liar, which peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot 100.

On Sunday, Shakira shared a snap of the pair on Instagram at the 2026 World Cup, where they looked like they had frozen in time.

Showing off their fresh-faced complexions, the pair looked happier than ever as they embraced each other.

Shakira, 49, wowed in a Marine Serre half-moon print co-ord, while Beyoncé, 44, stunned in a white cropped blazer over lace leggings.

Fans were left in awe over the post, as they took to the comments to gush over their youthful appearance, penning: 'Both approaching 50 years but look like 20 yr olds',

'These women never grow old',

'Damnnn they can be sisters',

'It doesn't get any better!',

'Years later they still give twin sisters.'

It comes after Shakira was called a 'timeless beauty' by fans as she co-headlined the World Cup final half-time show on Sunday.

The songstress flaunted her toned abs in a pink and yellow sequined custom Roberto Cavalli bodysuit by Fausto Puglisi, which was embellished with Swarovski crystals.

She performed her hit Dai Dai with Burna Boy as her ex-husband, Spanish former professional football player Gerard Pique, 39, watched on with their two sons Milan, 13, and Sasha, 11.

Shakira has performed at four of the last six World Cups. She sang Hips Don't Lie at the closing ceremony of the 2006 World Cup in Germany, Waka Waka in 2010 in South Africa and La La La in Brazil in 2014.

Even Roy Keane proved to be a fan. When asked about what he thought of the show, Roy replied: 'It was a bit of an anti-climax, but I think the people in the stadium probably enjoyed it more than us. But it’s always nice to see Shakira.'

Spain went on to be crowned the 2026 World Cup champions, after Ferran Torres scored the winning goal against Argentina during extra time.

Dai Dai is the official anthem of the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund.

Shakira partnered with Global Citizen and FIFA to provide access to education for children in underserved communities, with record royalties from Dai Dai being donated to the Education Fund, and Sony Music will match the first $250,000 raised with a donation.

Shakira and Gerard's split came when the Whenever, Wherever hitmaker allegedly discovered that her longtime beau had been cheating with now-girlfriend Clara Chia.

In a 2024 interview with GQ Spain, Shakira detailed how her twelfth studio album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, helped her cope with the breakup.

The World Cup is where she met Pique in 2010, when she sang Waka Waka (This Time for Africa) at the closing ceremony.

'I have this connection with [football] that seems unbreakable,' she said.
