The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) said on Monday that a vessel was struck 17 nautical miles east of Dibba, near the UAE’s Fujairah port.

The attack caused damage to the steering gear, but the vessel's crew were reported to be safe, UKMTO said.
