A delegation of permanent representatives of OSCE participating states arrived in Kyiv after another massive Russian attack to see the consequences of the strikes firsthand.

Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk stated this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"Support for Ukraine begins with the truth, which must be seen firsthand. I met with a delegation of permanent representatives of OSCE participating states. I am sincerely grateful that, despite another massive Russian attack on Kyiv, they came to Ukraine to see the consequences of Russian terror with their own eyes and to confirm their solidarity with the Ukrainian people," he said.

During the meeting, the speaker of the Ukrainian parliament stressed that international organizations, including the OSCE, are called upon to play a key role in bringing peace back to Ukraine: "They must produce strong decisions to protect peace, strengthen security, and restore respect for international law."

Stefanchuk also emphasized that Ukraine's security is inseparably linked to the security of all of Europe and the OSCE space.

"That is why two complementary steps are needed today: maximum pressure on the aggressor and further strengthening of Ukraine. First and foremost, this means bolstering air defense, military support, and the development of our defense capabilities," the Verkhovna Rada chairman said.

He separately called on partners to continue supporting international efforts to return abducted Ukrainian children, hold Russia accountable, use frozen Russian assets to compensate for the damage caused, and prevent any attempts to return the aggressor state to international organizations until it stops its aggression and answers for the crimes committed.

The chairman of parliament also stressed that Ukraine already has unique experience in countering modern military threats and is ready to share it with its partners.

"I am convinced that only by preserving the unity of the democratic world and acting together will we be able to defend our shared values and achieve a just peace," Stefanchuk concluded.

As Ukrinform reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russia continues to rely on ballistic missiles as its main instrument of terror, so the delivery of air defense systems to Ukraine must be accelerated.
