A record number of patients are being prescribed ADHD drugs on the NHS with the number soaring by almost a third last year, new figures reveal. The NHS Business Services Authority said 427,000 people received central nervous system stimulants or other drugs used for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in 2025/26. The Bauchi State Government has announced plans to establish a mobile court to prosecute proprietors of unregistered private schools operating in the state. Crude oil is a key ingredient in petrol and diesel, which means that higher wholesale costs make filling up a car more expensive. Analysts say every $10 (£7.53) increase in the oil price pushes up pump prices by roughly 7p a litre.
